Gondola ride light – the cheapest option
The cheapest way to travel by gondola in Venice is the “gondola ride light”. A traghetto crosses the Grand Canal. Since there are only three bridges on the entire Grand Canal, you can also take the traghetto to the other side of the canal. Prices for visitors are €2.00 per trip and person. Note: Please always sit down, even if locals are standing up. They are allowed to do that.
If you want to travel a little longer than with the traghetto, you can share a gondola with other passengers. This trip will then involve up to 5 other passengers, which is also a good option for reducing the cost of the gondola ride.
Private gondola ride
If you want to have the gondola all to yourself, you pay a certain price depending on the route. The ticket for a private gondola ride includes up to 5 people and the ride takes about 30 minutes.
Combination packages gondola ride
There is also the option to combine the gondola ride with a meal. Below are the different options that a gondola ride in Venice offers.
How much does a gondola ride in Venice cost?
